Product Description
25CrMo4 +SR is a seamless, cold-drawn precision steel tube designed for high mechanical performance and demanding applications in motorsports and aviation. In production since 2006, it is one of our best-selling products, specifically manufactured to meet our strict quality criteria and the standards expected by professional racing and automotive customers.
25CrMo4 steel is alloyed with Chromium (Cr) and Molybdenum (Mo), which significantly improve its strength and durability compared to mild carbon steel. Thanks to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, it is widely used in structural and safety-critical applications like roll cages, frames, and suspension components.
Each tube is:
- Easy to weld
- Delivered ground inside and outside
- Free from scale and oil-coated for corrosion protection
- Clearly marked with: Dimension, Certificate Number, Heat Number, and Article Number
Certification & Quality
Not all chromium-molybdenum steel tubes are created equal. Over time, we’ve identified several manufacturers whose materials fail to meet the strict standards we and our clients demand.
On request, we provide each tube with an Inspection Certificate EN 10204-3.1, guaranteeing traceability, mechanical properties, and chemical composition.
